Be careful with the magnets...I had a magnetic pin dish on my sewing table...I was going to show my daughter something on my Kindle and it fried from getting too close to the pin dish...I had no idea it would do that until i sent it in to see what was wrong with it...

No, no, no! As soon as you put the word "quilting" on it, the price will go up!

I get excited now when hubby says he needs to go to Harbor Freight. "I wanna go too"! Lots of goodies there.

Not really "quilting" stuff, but last week I found a card of 24 button cell batteries (6 sizes) for under $3! I don't know if I will need all of them, but two of the sizes I will be able to use and one battery can cost more than that at the regular store. If they are like their regular batteries they won't last quite as long, but will still be cheaper in the long run.

My absolute favorite thing from Harbor Freight is the right angle ratcheting screwdriver I purchased. http://www.harborfreight.com/8-piece...ver-92630.html
It is low profile and can screw/unscrew super fast - even getting those annoying screws around the needleplate... It's sweet. Everyone I have showed it to goes out and gets one. It's awesome - and only $4
