Identify antique quilt Ohio 1860's?
3 Attachment(s)
I am trying to identify the pattern of this quilt that has been passed down in my family. It is from Ohio and we believe from the 1860's. Any information on pattern or anything else would be greatly appreciated. Pictures attached. Thanks!

Welcome to this board. Very pretty.

When you find out the information, please make a label and attach it to the back. Also, keep looking for initials of the maker. It is beautifully made.

I'm guessing it is a variation of whig rose.

I agree with Mer1348. It's stunning!!!!

It appears to be a tulip pattern and what looks like yellow in photos was likely a shade of green at one time. I'm wondering if you have a Dutch heritage...looks like a version of tulip wheel.

I can't see the yellow (that use to be green), but it is a variation of a whig rose , with a tuilp substituted for the outside roses (or they are large rose buds). Search the antique patterns for an exact match. Here are some close ones:

Thank you everyone! I should have mentioned the faded colors in my original post. You can see them the best in the second photo. There are now two shades of pale yellow in the border that I'm sure were green at one time. The middle border color was only used for the very center of the big flowers. The other now yellow color was used for all the stems and leaves. This was made by my great-great-grandmother who came from Switzerland, but lived in Ohio when the quilt was made. There was a big Pennsylvania Dutch influence in the Ohio town where she lived. I have a few antique quilts from her and other relatives that I have collected, but this was the one pattern I could not exactly track down. Thanks again for all the comments and help!

Here's one like Jane Quilter said - that is a variation of a Whig Rose, but this one has tulips:
