I would like to know the pros and cons why some people like them and others do not, just curious what the fuss is all about

Give me a hint ... what's IDT? ;)

Having had 3 machines without it and now have one with, I will continue to choose one with. I LOVE not having to attach a special foot for even-feed quilting (and it never worked all that great to begin with). Now, it's always there and always working perfectly. LOVE it. (Did I say that already?)

Built in feed dogs. Phaff machines have it. I LOVE mine
It's the reason I have a phaff. works great and easy to use

Integrated dual transportation. Here's a video from Pfaff that shows how it works.

I won't be without it after having it on 2 machines.

Even feed no need for a walking foot .........great feature.

My PFAFF IDT sews so straight. My Viking add-on walking foot is bulky and gets in my way as I am threading and does not sew nearly as well! Love love love my Pfaff
