Hubby surprised me with a Janome Horizon 7700 for our anniversary last year and I accepted it!!! Love the machine and highly recommend it to everyone.

My Hubby wouldn't do that. He knows all to well that he knows little if anything about sewing machines and that the salesman could talk him into anything. He doesn't do well in gift picking out, and if I expressed a real desire for something he would just tell me to go get it. Oh, he will complain and moan about the cost (too much, why do you need that, etc.) but it's all part of his walk to finally giving in. :thumbup: Plus I don't ask for anything we can't afford.

After I recovered from fainting I'd do a happy dance-and maybe give him a hug...
