I think placemats would work.

I wouldn't trim them down. I'd add something to make the small ones as big as the big ones. If you trim them you lose the pattern. I'd find a way to use up the most of it I could. It is a cute design.

You could use them as a trim on a pillow case instead of a sham.

I believe I would fashion a skirt for myself from them. Either that, or seat covers for my new beau's convertible.

I might use Maniac's design but make a tote bag. Or make pillow cases with slate blue solid fabric and use the scraps as the decorative ends.

All suggestions are good, another idea is to save the scrapse for a log cabin quilt. You will get more leftovers and one day you have enough for a quilt

Would make a nice purse and can use a solid color for one side if needed. Keep the pattern simple perhaps in rows.

If I had made a bed quilt, I would make a runner for a nightstand or dresser. I would use the scraps to make kaliedoscopes and would probably have to buy a little coordinating fabric to do this.

I try to make an extra block from every quilt that I make, then when I have enough, I make a quilt out of them..as long as the blocks are square, it doesn't really matter what size they are, you can add borders and combine them, and somehow they all fit, and make a great everyday quilt, with very little effort.
