I agree, Dolphyngyrl! It's all fun and games until the bobbin runs out! LOL

The waiting time between ordering and receiving. When I order it, I want to be able to play with it NOW.

Also people who have their own agenda. I once heard a woman at a show telling three other ladies that "you cannot hand quilt through Warm and Natural batting". I hand quilt 80 percent of the time, and I ONLY use Warm and Natural.

Jan, I am VERY lucky that I have not had that reaction from anyone. It could be down right depressing. It happened to my sister though. Her daughter once said "oh another quilt" in a big deal kind of voice. It was the LAST one she got.

I know what you mean! I have been known to "ghost quilt" quite a bit myself. I especially hate when that happens while sewing on borders, unpinning as you go, only to find out at the end that you only sewed the 1st 6"! Bummer!!

Video tutorials that make it look so easy and as if the quilt can be completed in a very short time with a specialty ruler of course.

Empty bobbins and the my quilt is better than yours people.

Oh, I so agree with this one. Just tried a class last week involving 2 "special rulers". Hated it, seemed everyone else liked it, must have been me. This was my second attempt with specialty rulers and what I learned in class is that it is not for me. Please just tell me the size blocks I should cut!

Hahaha! Oh Suern3 (r u an RN?) I so Agree with you. And then I saw u were from NE. I was born and raised there! Only moved here in 2002. That's probably why agree with you, lol. I am a retired RN manager.....

Unfriendly quilt shop keepers...I can spend a healthy amount of money when I want to and I sometimes won't go back a second time to give them another chance. That being said most I know are terrific.
