The waiting time between ordering and receiving. When I order it, I want to be able to play with it NOW.
Also people who have their own agenda. I once heard a woman at a show telling three other ladies that "you cannot hand quilt through Warm and Natural batting". I hand quilt 80 percent of the time, and I ONLY use Warm and Natural. Jan, I am VERY lucky that I have not had that reaction from anyone. It could be down right depressing. It happened to my sister though. Her daughter once said "oh another quilt" in a big deal kind of voice. It was the LAST one she got. |

Video tutorials that make it look so easy and as if the quilt can be completed in a very short time with a specialty ruler of course.

Oh, I so agree with this one. Just tried a class last week involving 2 "special rulers". Hated it, seemed everyone else liked it, must have been me. This was my second attempt with specialty rulers and what I learned in class is that it is not for me. Please just tell me the size blocks I should cut!

Having a rough time finding the right fabrics for a project and bleeding fabric!!

Unfriendly quilt shop keepers...I can spend a healthy amount of money when I want to and I sometimes won't go back a second time to give them another chance. That being said most I know are terrific.
