If you had 3 pieces of fabric, 1/2 yard each, what would you make? You are allowed to supplement...
Our guild has a "bag challenge" and I can't decide if I want to participate or not. The idea is, you put 3 half yard pieces of fabric in a brown bag. Bags are swapped out and in 4 months, must be returned to original owner as a completed project. I'm afraid of going with something too simple. Then again, sometimes simple is best. As you can see, I'm on the fence... |

What kind of finished project ? Is it your choice what to make?
|
It would all depend on the fabric.. some can tell you what to do,
others you have to encourage to tell you :D:D:D |

Sounds like fun...and if you can supplement it with other fabrics, then what a great idea for a disappearing 9patch. Have fun with it...

I'd probably make a table runner or topper, but I'm sure you'll get lots more info from other posters.

Since you're on the fence, why not make a fence rail quilt? (sorry, bad quilting humor).

In our guild we just swapped 6 fat qtrs and no rules, anything goes. I added one more color and made a wallhanging plus a table runner. they turned out nice. WE are going to exchange them at Christmas time. Go for it. It is a lot of fun.
