What a great idea! I might have to try that and make some beds for the rescue.

I love the idea of using as a mulch--wonder if you could fold over several layers and put into the bottom of pots for plants? Would keep the soil from coming out. I also cut it down to use as floor protectors under some furniture legs (ones that don't get moved alot)

I mostly use mine for practice sandwiches, but I also find the scrappy bits helpful for easily removing water soluble marks from my quilt tops. I just spritz with water & gently rub with the batting and the marks come off easily and stay in the batting without any smearing or running.

Like the idea of using to remove markings.i use mine as dusters and smal small pieces are collected in a cushion size pad when full do s simple quilting over to make dog or cat beds. They wash well and my animals love them as like them they are small enough for them to move.

what wonderful ideas! I never would have thought of using it for the Swiffer! Ugh! Does that mean I actually have to clean now? :D

Because I do a lot of QAYG, I love getting batting scraps from my long-armer friends. I quilt each block before attaching, and I use the long strips for borders which are attached using QAYG.

I will use pieces for some quilts. If they are real small scraps, I put them in pet beds.

I will probably just rock somebody's world, but i'm not keeping small scraps - i throw away most of that stuff because i am not keeping all that for "someday"

More power to those of you who take the time to make sure all scraps get used, but i just don't do that.

What a bunch of creative people out there. I really like the idea to use them for dusting and on swifter mops.
