I just got my new sewing machine today. And I'm in love with it. It's my first computerized machine, and has all the features I believe I need. It's a far cry from the machine I've been using. I got a Singer Quantum 9960. I sat at the machine almost all day, started reading the booklet from page one......sure wish I had this two years ago, but I have a lot more things I want to make...this machine might not be as glorified as some, but it is so much better, smoother, quieter, and has some fancy stitches on it. Now I'm going to have to go back to Leah Days sight and try some of her FMQ. The feed dogs drop too, which my old machine didn't. I still won't be making large quilts, but if I do I'll send those out........I'm in heaven......so if you don't see much of me for a little while, you'll know why.

If it fits your needs and desires... it's glorified enough...
a "more" glorified machine may not have been a good fit for you...

Isn't that nice to have a new machine that offers more options than the old one. I got a new Brother Sq9000, my first computerized machine, not fancy by any means but oh what a joy to have. Wishing you lots of fun and many happy sewing hours.
