Today is a vacation day from work, my house is clean, the boys are at school, DH is at work, supper is in the slowcooker, I've got some nice jazz on the stereo and a fire in the fireplace--- now I get to quilt all day!!! I am so looking forward to this, see ya all later.

This is me tomorrow....except for the DH, kids, jazz, slow cooker and clean house! I'm single with no kids at home, just me and the critters (2 cats and 1 dog). Supposed to be cooler tomorrow in Houston so 19 bean soup sounds really good! Hmmm...Walmart trip tonight! Good thing Joann's is on the way!

This sounds exactly how I spent yesterday! I had the day off, got up early made beef strogonoff and then spent all day in my sewing room. Pure heaven!

My idea of a wonderful day....enjoy!!

Wish my day could be as enjoyable. Just got the word today that the closing date on our new house is the 17th. We are hoping to move on the following weekend. Have tons of packing and things to do. The thing that I will really miss is working on my quilt. I have completed the top and am ready to sandwich it and start quilting. Problem is I am going to have to pack all of my sewing items away for the move. I'm also probably going to miss a few days of checking back with the board until I get set up with my Internet at the new house. Uck

Well...no cleaning this weekend...I washed, ironed and cut my squares each night after work...laid it all out Friday night and started to sew - was pretty tired so did not get far. Now I am going to sew my quilt all weekend...the Christmas rush....making at least three quilts, stockings and hopefully more stuff. But this weekend I am working on my son's quilt top....hoping to finish and than start my other son's quilt top...all squares for them both are done...just sewing left. Have a wonderful weekend everyone...hope you get a bit of sewing in.
