I'm so talented...
My free motion presser foot came in the mail today. I spent three hours trying to get the tension right and at some point the part the bobbin sits in got jostled out of place (that part is not labeled in my manual, hmm) and I punched two holes along it's edge with the needle. Every time the thread goes around inside the machine it catches on it....
But I think I can fix it with wood glue. It's drying right now. *headdesk* Oh well back to cutting up old jeans for a quilt for my Dog. He won't mind my newbie mistakes. :-) |
Sometimes there are also little pieces sticking up where you made the holes. You have to sand those down or the thread will continue to snag.

Thank goodness i have sandpaper and wood glue to begin with.
