I'm SOO Excited!
I'm going to the Paduach KY Quilt Show next week! DH and I will be there for opening day and plan on spending two days at the show. Will be stopping at Hancock's also. Taking two cameras so hope to come back with lots of pics to share.
Have fun and let us all know what the show was like and lots of pictures!
WWWOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!! My DH and I are also going - but, luckily, we get to stay with our daughter who lives in Paducah!!!!! She just moved a little ways out of town, but did live within walking distance of Hancocks of Paducah. Hope that you already have reservations at a motel/hotel or you may have to stay in another town. Our DD has rearranged her work schedule so that she can be with us as much as she can. She is also a quilter!
Enjoy yourself enough for all of us! Wish I could go.
Congratulations!
Congratulations! Enjoy your time.
Have fun. I was thinking of going this year but son decided to get married next week so have to try again for next year.
Enjoy your trip!! Some of my friends are going this year - it is on my Bucket List. I'm hoping to go next year. There is a bus that goes from this area and I think the trip would be a blast. It would be a completely different experience than the Quilt Festival @ Houston. Please let us know all the details when you get back!
Enjoy! Have good walking shoes and socks, layered clothing, a hat, a small water bottle, and snacks with you. Oops, also your camera or cell phone well charged.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
You'll LOVE it! Have fun. Take lots of money for all the great fabric and gadgets you'll see. You'll want to stay longer...
Have fun! I went about 15 years ago, and do hope to go again someday!

I'm also going. I've been here in Paduczh since Spril 1st. At a campground. I've already hit some good deals at Quilt in a Day store. They have a really good deal today. Going again. I also have two classes with Eleanor Burns and a seminar with her. So excited. I bought my entrance tickets ahead of time so I don't have to wait in line.
Wish I lived closer. Will have to check and see if my cousin will get to go.
Enjoy your trip! I have to admit I'm a tad jealous!
Enjoy, you are so lucky.
So jealous! That's on my bucket list. Can't wait to see pics. Safe travels and have fun!
If you are going to be there on Thursday the 25th, you should try to get in on the "flash photo" session that Alex Anderson and Ricky Tims are putting on. They want to do a photo cover for their magazine with a lot of quilters holding up one of their own quilts. It will then be on the cover of their October magazine. Everyone is suppose to meet in front on the National Quilt Museum at 4:00 PM with a quilt to stage the photo shoot. Wouldn't it be cool if all of you who are going to the show from the board could get in on this? Cannot wait to see you on the front of the magazine!

If you have a chance, come down to Benton, KY to the Odds & Ends Fabric store. I love her store and we place strip bingo there on Tuesday nights every month and the other Tuesdays we go and have a good time visiting or learning new things.
For the quilt show week she is going to be open until 11:00 PM .... yes that late and it gets wild with all the fun we have. You'd be surprised at how many come down (about 25 minutes away) that late since everything else has closed up. Her prices range from 6.00 up to 9.00 for most of the fabric and she has tons of precut bundles. I don't work there but spend sooooo much time there I probably should. :) She's on the north side of Benton, on HWY 641 next to the Ford dealership. Have fun. What a great opportunity to see all those wonderful quilts. Will you be attending any classes?
I wish I were going too, but I'm glad for you who are able to go. I know you will have so much fun. It's definitely on my wish list.
