While on vacation I forgot my hand quilting thread. I stopped by a quilt shop and the thread was either from France or England but can't remember what the name was. Has anyone used a thread like this? It came in a weight and had a coating for hand piecing.

all our thread - well most of it is imported. Not sure any is made in the USA now.

Maybe try going to a thread shop & see if any look/sound familiar?

The only one I know is Tristan's (http://www.tristan.bc.ca/), but if you do a search on this site for Aurifil, you'll find several threads where folks mention other places that sell thread.
