Importing PP from the internet

There was a post today about this pattern called Wheel of Fortune.

I would like to import the PP pattern into EQ7 because I could get more blocks printed at the correct size using EQ. You are allowed to print the block from the PDF but can I import it from the internet into the EQ block library??? THANKS

Maybe you could print and then scan into your EQ library?

I don't know of anyway to "import" QuiltersCache patterns. There is no guarantee that she created them EQ7.

What I do is print the pattern, then draw it out in EQ7 and do what I want to/with it.

That one should be fairly easy to re-draw. You only need to make one of the four squares as they are all duplicated. You can even change the rake of the angles if you wish.

I'm not at home to look at my EQ software, but I seem to recall to get angles you need to change one of the "snap to" settings, otherwise EQ will try to square up your lines.

If you can't get it, drop me a PM with your e-mail address (and the block size you want) and I'll see if I can draw it, save it, and e-mail it to you over the weekend.

No, you can't import the pattern. You can probably copy the block and save it, then import the picture as a template. But as DogHouseMom says, you can easily draw a quarter of the block and print it out any size you like.

Have you tried other sources for the templates? The eQuilter one was done with EQ4 if that helps you any.

There's a block in EQ7 called "Road to Fortune" that is very similar to the one you want. It would not be difficult to redraw the lines to where you want them to be.

I don't EQ but I do paper piece. Thanks for the site. Haven't gone to Quilters Cache in quite awhile.
