Does anyone know where I can find a pattern for an infinity scarf or mobius scarf?

Thanks,
Leslie

Hi Leslie.
Sorry I don't know about the scarfs but I wanted to say hi.

Knit or crochet?

Never mind I found both here:

I think I saw some earlier today on the Red Heart site! Give it a try.

I have some patterns. Let me see if I can find them. Okay , the first one was designed by Elizabeth Zimmerman. If you can find one of her books or maybe even google it you can find the directions. I found hers rather confusing, but here is an updated version that goes real fast. It is a free flyer at Joann's called "Cowl with a Twist". PM me if you want the directions. They are super easy, but maybe I shouldn't make it a widespread thing by putting it out to everyone.

I just saw this scarf made on Sewing with Nancy a couple weeks ago.
Thanks for the link.

Either of these should help. Sounds like there's really nothing to them except choosing a silky/drapey material. Thanks for the inspiration. I think I'll make one up tonight and see how it goes!

Darn, I thought I'd had a great idea when I came up with it. All you have to do is twist one long end before sewing them together. Finish your seam so that it looks good from both sides because both sides may show.

Another idea: I stitched a loop on one end then slipped the opposite end through it before sewing. It was a little more confusing but looks better and adds to the intrigue of the scarf. If you want to see a picture, you can find photos of the scarf in my etsy shop
