info about a pattern
Someone in Pictures posted,' last years finishes-Seven Shirts.' I asked about it but I didn't get a response, that is okay, but I was wondering. I googled Seven Shirts quilt pattern, just in case there was a quilt pattern showing you how to make a quilt with 7 shirts. Anyway, the site only shows a picture now of the quilt. The thriftyquilter blogspot. The link to the free pdf didn't work as it was June 2009. Can I get the pdf and if so how?
I copied this comment: Loved the tutorial in cutting of the shirts...I have some saved....but couldn't figure out where to start cutting. Excellent instructions. I could make the quilt, but was curious about how she cut what piece and how many, from each shirt. Thanks Toogie |
Looks like a Nine Patch Snowball. Here's a link to another
blogger who made the quilt. If you read her post it will give you some ideas. Hope you can figure it out. http://janicelovestoquilt.blogspot.c...en-shirts.html |
I went there first and used the link but like I said no info about the 7 shirt cut-out. I have made the snowball 9P before. I wanted to know how she got a quilt out of the 7 shirts. Thanks anyway EasyPeezy, sorry I wasn't clear.

There is a lot of fabric in men’s Xlarge size cotton shirts. Bonnie Hunter has a tutorial on deboning a shirt on her Quiltville site.

seven shirts quilt
I found this online, also. It is a snowball and 9-patch quilt that looks to be the same.
