Info on Janome 3160 QDC
 

I have a friend that is wanting to sell her Janome 3160 QDC Embroidery machine. She is wanting $2300.00 for it, she purchased it two years ago and it is still in the box. The information i found on the internet shows it as basically a sewing machine with zig zag stitching. Is there anyone that can tell me more about this machine. I'm looking for one that I can program and using a large hoop. Thanks

Looking on the internet looks like this is not an embroidery machine.

i bought one over two years ago for $650 US. i think you have a model number mixup. It is a nice basic machine for all=round quilting and sewingwith some fancy stitches.

I have that machine and love it. Has a lot of nice features. I agree with Sue Sew about the model number. Mine is about 2 years old and I gave about $650 for it.

I thought the number was mixed up also. She first gave me the number and price of $900 and then came back with the higher price and I asked if it was the same model number as I know she has two machines and she said yes it was the 3160 QDC. Guess I will have to go look at it and see what the model number really is and go from there.
