I am making several over the neck chatelaines. One side will hold a small pair of scissors and the other a small pincushion. I wanted to make a pincushion that has a binding around the edges but I am not sure how I could include a little loop inside of the pincushion so I can then attach it to the chatelaine. I guess I could put it in front or behind the binding but then it wouldn't hang straight. Maybe it's not a big deal if it's a little crooked?? If you have any suggestions I would love to hear. I hope my question makes sense.....

You can use the binding to create the loop...just extend your binding past the joining spot, stitch the edges together for as long as you want your loop to be, then attach the end back at the joining spot.
Or do the loop somewhere in the middle of doing your binding, using the same method described above. Hope this explanation makes sense! If not PM me and I'll try to clear things up. |
I would love to see a tutorial on this, as I need one to hang around my neck to hold scissors, thanks
