International Quilt Festival Houston Excitement!
Quilt Festival is just one week out. I've been getting excited about it all week. My only reservation is driving down on Friday. There's so much traffic because of all the workers from downtown. I only attend on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Saturday and Sunday are no problem. It's 20-30 minutes door to door. Today I got an email from my Quilt Guild (Tri County Quilt Guild) that they are chartering a bus for Friday! Woohoo! It only costs $1 and is leaving from a church 5 miles from my house! What a deal! Now I'm super excited!
Is anyone else attending Quilt Fest in Houston this year? |
are you going naked or wearing a mask? Don't say both!!
|
Rules require masks so I'll be wearing one. Other than that it will be one of my wearable art jackets and pants and, of course, comfy shoes. A must.
|
well have fun for me too. meet some interesting quilters!! and enjoy the different sellers there too. Never made the Houston show but did Denver and Boulder in Colorado.

I've gone to Houston Quilt Festival every year (except of course 2020) since the mid 90's. I just love all the amazing quilts and wonderful vendors. I meet the nicest people at Quilt Festival.

I wanted to go, but that is the weekend that my aunt from Houston is visiting!
|
I had planned on going but too many other plans have gotten in the way. Have fun! It's an amazing show that every quilter should try to go to at least once.
