I plan on going to the one in Columbus in June too. Maybe I'll see you there.

I've been to several when they were in the Chicago area. I brought snacks (cheese sticks, yogurt, water) to hold me. I didn't want to wait in line and pay the money for a food there. Afterwards hubby and I went to a nice restaurant for dinner. Definitely wear comfy shoes. I wore clothes that had pockets in them so I didn't need to bring a purse. Just carried my card, drivers license and cash! I viewed the quilts first and then the vendors.

Please post tonight what you saw -

Let us know if there's something that we MUST see.

Tell us about anything you think would make our visit better.

I'll be waiting to hear your suggestions!

ENJOY YOURSELF

If it is like the show in Chicago, bring water and a sandwich or fruit or something to eat. Food is way overpriced and water is $2.50 a bottle. Enjoy! I am envious!

kimscruzer 04-08-2011 05:43 AM

Well......I'm off to the SHOWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BeeNana 04-08-2011 05:50 AM

When you come back from all the fun don't
forget to tell us the whole story.....
and we want pictures. If they allow pictures
at the show, they will expect that they will
be posted somewhere.......I could be wrong.

At the Chicago Show they did not allow Beverages into the show. A few were able to sneak them in if they were not in plain sight.
They also did not allow any food or beverages out of the food court areas.

How exciting!! I can't wait to hear about it and to see pictures too :D:D:D

They had water fountains at the Chicago show....

It's amazing how long a quilter can go on bare minimum food and water intake at a quilt show! :) :) :)
