If I had an international QB member for Secret Santa would you like some of my back issues of quilt magazines put in with your presents as a bonus or do you have access to all of our magazines? I don't want to send something that you have everyday access to or wouldn't want to receive. Just thinking about starting to put together a package. Are there certain quilty things that you would like that are hard to come by in your country that you may like to receive?
***I'm thinking now that this may help others with Secret Santa information**** Thanks! SAM |
Being in Australia, I was thinnking the same thing, especially as I have tons of back issues of our mags. I think it's a great idea.

I don't know about anyone else but I love magazines to use for pattern ideas especially the ones from Australia as they have so many unique patterns that I never see anywhere else and I personally love things that are different. Anything quilty would be wonderful as your prices seem to be so much lower in the US than here in Canada. For example, I need a 12.5`ruler and here it is $36 but I have seen it online for $12. That is quite a difference but I need to wait until I order more things with it to maximize the shipping costs. I think that the costs on everything are way higher here than in the US. I keep looking for deals to stay within budget on my SS gift due to the costs here.

Yes please - that is a lovely idea and generous - we don't see many of your magazines in the stores round here (North Wales) and my LQS just keeps the Quilter. I must sign up for this!!

Great idea.

As far as I know magazines do not pay taxes and shipping is cheaper if package contains magazines only. FQ / other stuff would be mailed separately. |
Oh what a wonderful idea!!!!! I think it would be fabulous to get magazines from another country.
