Thank you so so much for any and all help!! Also, do you know where I can get a belt for it and a cover for the front part of the shuttle? I have the piece for the back part, but the part that covers the serial number is missing.

The number you are showing has to be the serial number. I know that Singer and Pfaff have a list of serial number series which signifies the year the machine was manufactured.

If you look closely at the designs in the foot pedal, some of the designs of hearts (well almost!), as in The Hearts of Miss Valentina!

The number that you show is the serial number and by going on line you should be able to find out what year it was manufactured.

I just did a quick google and discover that your machine was made for Sears probably in the late 1910's or early 20's. It technically can be said that it is an early Kenmore as this machine was manufactured by Singer most likely and they put the Domestic name on it for Sears. Congrats it looks to be a real find.
