Most of my rulers are the Omnigrip rulers (vs the Omnigrid) that are supposed to stop the slipping when cutting. I am finding they still slip some. Sooooo....would adding the Invisi-grip film help? Has anyone added this to a ruler that is already supposed to not slip and had better results?

I couldn't get it to stick to my new Omingrip. It's frosted and I guess the frost stuff makes it not stick. I had to be very careful squaring up with it.

I got a Creative Grids ruler for Christmas and Love it. It is non skid and easy to read. I may replace another ruler that is getting a bit worn.

Would like to know this too?

I have the invisi-grip film on all my rulers. I love it and I think it works just fine. I have never had to replace the film and have had it on my rulers for at least 8 yrs now.

I have a variety of rulers, including omni-grid.

I use the little sand paper grip they seem to work better for me.

Oh l love my Omnigrip rulers. i also have the older ones and did use invisi-grip on them. the new ones don't move on me. maybe your cutting table height needs adjusting.. or you need to wear high heels when cutting to get more leverage, he, he.
invisi-grip comes in a roll, like cling wrap.

Honestly, I hate Invisi-Grip. It has a some kind of shiney-flat sheen the reflects light or something and makes it harder to see the lines on my old (orange lines; can't remember the brand) ruler. It still slips, too. I'm ready to remove it and use sandpaper dots. On one of my (orange lines) ruler, I have plastic dots and it grabs the fabric so tightly I can't slide it, which knocks the fold off kilter. I'm ready for new rulers, I know, but I hate to spend the $$.

I don't like Invigrip either! I only use Omnigrip rulers and haven't had any trouble with them slipping much. I actually started out with Creative Grids and HATED them! Traded or sold all of them! It all boils down to personal preference I know. Since you are having some trouble, I would try the sandpaper dots before I tried the InvisiGrip.
