Want to use invisible thread on a scrap quilt that has lights and darks. Haven't used this method for awhile and want to know if there are any special settings you gals (and guys) use. If I decide on a colored thread what do you usually use with this method (what color). Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, VAL

val, use the search feature to find "invisable thread"..there is alot of info here..
i have used it once. it turned out ok..but i was new to it, and it could of been better..the thread i used wanted to unwind up the spool, like fishing line! so i can be no help to you at all.

The best invisible thread is poly, not nylon. It's much softer and I like the results much better. The Sulky brand is nice.

Jenny Haskins invisible thead is the best. Use it in the bobbin and doesn't have to wound on slow.

I prefer to use a varigated, rather than the invisible thread :D:D:D

Once I took my grandson to Jo Anns, he said what are you looking for? I wasn't thinking I said invisible thread he gave me this crazy look until I realized how crazy that did sound!
