What are some of the best quilter's application for the IPad? Thanks
|
I use QuiltCalc on my iPhone. It is by Robert Kaufman fabrics and helps you determine 1) fabric measurement, 2) backing and batting, 3) piece count, 4) pieces to yardage area, 5) binding, 6) border yardage, 7) square-in-a-square, and 8) set-in and corner triangles. I'm glad you asked the question and I'm anxious to see what else is out there.

Oh, I also have QuiltShops that helps you find quilt shops near you. It's great for traveling!

A very nice lecture type comes from the Victoria and Albert museum and is on antique English Quilts. Called Quilts1700-2010 but my absolute favorite is called Block Fab and allows you to take a single block of your choice, choose your color and then puts it into any type of quilt with sashing, plain blocks or what ever. Fun to play with.

I can second quiltcalc by Kaufman. I use it all the time for quick easy calculations for fabric.
