I bought a shark at costco for $25.00 and I love it. I was considering a rowenta until I found the shark and thought I would give it a try. I have used the rowenta's at the LQS in classes, and my shark works much better at 1/4th the cost too!!!

I am happy with my Black & Decker, and they're not expensive at all. Sometimes pricier is better, but not always, and it depends on what you need and can afford.

I love my Rowenta and have been using it for 8-9 years now. I have a well and very hard water and it still does not sputter or drip!!!

Go to a store and test drive the ones in your price range. Choose the one that feels good to you! It's kind of like buying a sewing machine...personal preference!
Good luck!
