Well, after all the banter on all these threads, I'm more confused than ever about which Iron I should buy!!! LOL

I have an Oliso iron. I like it most of the time but - - - it does seem to shutoff after a short time and it really bugs me when I am piecing blocks and want to press them only to find out it has shut itself off!

I just check my Joann's ad for next week and irons are only 20% off. Good luck with your decision.

I have been using my iron for 13 months at quilting class at our church and 14 women/girls have been using it. It was probably 6 months old when I starting quilting and it is still going strong. I got the cheaper one at Costco. This iron has served us well.
