The reason it got so rumpled is because my house doesn't have a space big enough to lay out a queen-sized quilt top. So I have to fold or roll the assembled sections, and that tends to crumple things up a lot.

I've honestly never used starch. I feel like if I'd done that in the beginning, it would have meant a lot less work...
