ISO Nice cuddly Minkee or similar quilt pattern or kit
 

I need to make a super cuddly quilt for my dd.

I need a fast pattern for a beginner quilter, long term sewer.

I have mad rag quilts, does Minkee work well for a rag type quilt?

It's my understanding that minkee doesn't rag at all since it's polyester. Flannel would be fine.

JoAnn's has kits for, I think, fleece throws. They used to have a kit with pre-cut fringed blocks that you could tie. Lots of different patterns--quick, easy and warm.

You could pick out a pretty fleece and back it with Minky -- double the cuddlyness and very quick!

I made a strip quilt out of minkee. It actually turned out quite nice and was easy. They were precut strips of varying width..usually 4 - 6 inches and different kinds of minky. I actually pieced it on my longarm and it went really fast.
