ISO Quilt with different size patches

I am looking for a quilt that has different size patches - so that they are not all in a neat row. I love the "unplanned" look but I need to have some order to it. I have done a disappearing 9 patch and loved it, but would like to find another pattern suitable for scraps. Free is best, but I will purchase a pattern if I really love it. I have tried googling, but I am not sure of the correct terminology of what I am looking for. Thanks for any help.

take 5 and yellow brick road come to mind.

You can make your own, example, blocks 3", 6", 9" 12" blocks, change the blocks to different designs too.
I made one for my GGD's 5" charms squares and added a 9.5" pp heart. (equals 4, 5" charm sq.)

We bought a pattern called "Seeing Squares" that uses plain squares and LC centers of different sizes to make larger blocks. It has that unplanned look you are talking about but is fairly simple. I'll see if I can find a link.

OK if you Google seeing squares quilt pattern the top result should be the Empty Bobbin Sewing Company, who published the pattern. There are some pics of finished quilts there.

Turning Twenty. Designed for 20 fat quarters, so should work well with scraps
