Looking for a good book that I can use my scraps with.
Have lots of it, but can't seem to find a good book with really cool patterns without needing any yardage. Any suggestions? Does anyone have one to sell? or trade? |
Nickel Quilts by Pat Speth - http://www.amazon.com/Nickel-Quilts-...255271&sr=1-21
LOVE this book, and I didn't even save my scraps until recently. :) *********************** Scrap Basket Surprises by Kim Brackett - http://www.amazon.com/Scrap-Basket-S...6255398&sr=1-3 This is another gorgeous pattern book - tons of great ideas - uses mostly 2½" strips. ********************** If you like applique, maybe you'd like Edyta Sitar's book - Friendship Strips and Scraps: http://www.amazon.com/Friendship-Str...6255472&sr=1-1 I just got this and haven't really read it, but it looks lovely. ***************** Nine patch and snowball is a nice combination that looks pretty with any mix of fabrics as long as you have enough contrast between the lights and darks. SUPER easy to piece if you use strips for the nine-patch units. :) |
How about Bonnie Hunter's site?
Lots of free patterns and everything is scrappy http://quiltville.com/ |
How about Edyta Sitar? Check her quilts out....

I love all of the "Nickel Quilt" books by Pet Speth. If I recall there are 3 in the series... all are very good for scrap quilts.

I really like "Creative Scraps: Quilting With Bits and Pieces" by House of White Birches 2006. Has 67 really nice patterns.

I am looking at all the possibilities you ladies have offered. I, too, have lots of pieces and would like to put them to use. Great sources!

Another additionto the list is
Quick Quilts From Your Scrap Bag; it is a Leasure arts book, edited by Patricia Wilens. The publisher is Oxmoor House I have made many quilts from this book |
