ISO twin sister quilters
Several months ago, maybe even a year ago, I read about a pair of twin sisters that quilted with gently used fabric. One lived in the US and the other lived in Europe, Poland I think. They were so creative and had many patterns and ideas. They sold fabric on their website as well. They created stunning quilts and had a tutorial about an easy way to make a bargello. That's what I'm really looking for but I have to start with their website. Is this familiar to anyone? You people are so great about answering questions. Now I am counting on you! Thank you for your help!

Never heard of them but I'm interested in Bargello tute so I'll watch for responses. They sound awesome.

I found this page, but I don't see a bargello pattern.

Yes, Quilted Twins. They have a shop online.

Go to the link, go to blog and then use the search button. Type in bargello and it will take you to a page showing pictures of bargello quilts. She shows pictures of several.

I think you are asking about the "Quilted Twins". I get e-mails from them almost weekly and they have beautiful fabrics. If you can't find them just PM me and I can forward their next e-mail to you and then you can get their info.

You are thinking of the Quilted Twins. Haven't tried their patterns yet as I have hundreds of patterns stored in binders. They do have a limited line of fabric, but getting more and more in each day it seems. Great 1/2 yard bundles or yardage. I've ordered from them and the fabric was the perfect color for the back of my quilt. I'll order again and again without hesitation.

Thank you all for your help! Yes I was looking for the "quilting twins." Sadly, I was mistaken as their site did not have this wonderful tutorial about making a bargello quilt from jelly roll strips. After the strips are sewn together, then you sew them together to make a tube. Then somehow you cut the tube apart to make the bargello quilt. I guess I will just have to do the dozens of projects in my closet! Thanks again for your help!

Jenny Doan has a tute on YouTube about making Bargello quilts and she makes them just as you described.
