It's Friday!
 

It is Friday and as soon as I finish work, I am heading home to my sewing room. The weather is supposed to be cold and snowy, and I have nothing scheduled for the whole weekend, except quilting. I can't wait! My sewing room has been out of commission for a few weeks, as it is used as our guest room also. Now the guests are all gone and I can have my room back. Time to take down the pullout sofa and put up my Bernina, the cutting table and ironing board. The first project is to start a quilt for my new grandson, he is 6 weeks old already, and grandma hasn't had time to make his quilt. Maybe I will check in with you all for a few minutes over the weekend. Have a great weekend everyone!

Sounds like you have a busy productive weekend planned. I'm planning to spend part of the weekend in the sewing room too. I have a couple quilts I'd like to finish and get off the UFO pile! :) Have fun making your grandson's quilt.

Hope you have fun this weekend. The woman at work got a new grandson yesterday so I plan to make her a quilt this weekend. Actually that means tomorrow, hubby informed me we have plans for all day Sun.

Thank Heavens for weekends! Mine started early as I am off today. After the obligatory housework for the day/weekend, it's off to my sewing room for me too. After today, may not get back in there for awhile, got to take advantage of it. Flash freeze for this area of Ontario, Canada forecast for today, good day to stay by the fire.

That's exactly what I'm doing this weekend. No specific plans for anything so after work it just me, the cats, the dog and my quilt in progress. Yeah. Can't wait.
