Would feel the same way if I got a new machine. When you do open it have fun with it.

QuiltnNan 06-29-2012 11:41 AM

nervous.... not me!!! i'd open that immediately. but i have learned to open packages very carefully so that if there is a return needed, the seller would have no reason to reject the return. i'm happy for you for your new machine. enjoy!!!

Go ahead, go for it. Let us know how you are enjoying your new machine, congrats.

as you can see, it's a tight squeeze on the platform for my sewing cabinet. i'd like to be able to lower it and use an acrylic insert so i have a flat surface. i say, hubby needs to extend the opening to the left of machine, he thinks not. Opinions?

I have that machine, she is great!!!!

MzMcKee 06-29-2012 03:03 PM

Wonderful! Now plug it in!!! >giggle<

Arleners 06-29-2012 03:28 PM

Try it. You'll like it. I'm just the opposite. I rip things open and play before I even read the directions.

Get going and enjoy!

I open a new machine right a way, see how to thread it and start sew. No way could I wait. Enjoy.

You go girl! I definitely thing hubs needs to do some mods to your table. Holler if you need help! Congrats. I'd have that puppy out of the box and sewing before looking at the books. I'd only be checking books when I ran into a problem!

I'm so glad you opened it! Told ya you'd love it! I'm glad yours fits on in your sewing table; mine was just too small; hubby couldn't even modify it for me. But...it got me an extra table :) Have fun!!! Very excited for you Betsey!! :)
