not to buy fabric. I am not supposed to buy any fabric since I got my "windfall" from Craigslist and have more fabric than I'll ever use. BUT, when I went to a fabric outlet store today (to look for a backing for a music quilt), I just couldn't help myself. It's all so pretty and relatively inexpensive. So please, don't tell my DH I bought more!! Last week he said "you shouldn't even be thinking about buying more fabric". Well, I guess you could say I really didn't think about it, I just did it. Perhaps, I'll behave myself for a month or so now ...

I know the feeling. I'm trying to use up stash and only buy to augment a project. Right now I'm avoiding the LQS and working hard on projects hoping that helps. Maybe if I remove so much from stash, I can add more and no one will be the wiser. I feel for you.

I forgot to say that your husband and mine must be talking cause they sure sound alike. I have my fabric he can have his tools.

they say with every "diet" you can cheat every once in awhile.

Have heard this story before (LOL). However, when getting fabric for backing, batting, etc. it's just wayyyyy tooooo tempting not to look.

I think "diet" should be "buy it" ROFL. It's so hard not to. Seriously....

I agree about the trade off. Tools for fabric. No one had better complain about my stash. You can't keep warm under a drill press.

I have a similar problem!
