Has the moon been in the full stage? I shared with a QB friend of my day yesterday. I couldn't cut the pieces per instructions, did more ripping than actual sewing, cut new pieces, lots of checking and rechecking, more rippin'.. went to DH for a good cry because "I can't do anything right". Finally went shopping and bought a small rotary cutter thinking it would be safer in my state of mind and after two cuts in one day, bought a rotating cutting mat (love it!), bought a new large ripper that is much easier to grip and - last but not least - bought a 1/4" pressure foot. WONDERFUL! I made a block today and no rippin', the new pressure foot is fantastic (bring on the quilt police), and the smaller cutter is really handy. Tomorrow is another day. I can do this - I know I can! Join me?

Been there more than once. I finally have to just get up, shut everything done and close the door behind me.

When I do that, not only is it time to quit for the day, it's time to share a bottle of wine with DH!
