Beautiful quilts. Great job. Although I've heard that scraps multiply when you aren't looking, regardless of the scrap quilt you just finished.

Stitchit123 06-09-2011 02:31 PM

Scraps are Breeders -I thought ya'all knew this

These are all beautiful. How do you decide which pattern? Do you have a scrappy book? Something that doesn't say you need 4yds of scraps. I like really scrap quilts. The last one I made from a book cost $120.00. That is not a scrap quilt to me. I am asking the question because right now I am making a lot of scraps from my new project.LOL

I love your scrappys they are so cute, and a perfect way to
use those scraps up :D

paulswalia 06-09-2011 06:34 PM

I may have misled you all into thinking that all of these quilts are made from scraps - sorry to have done that. Only the first one (pinwheels) was scraps.Did not use a book just sized the pinwheels to be same as the other blocks and kept making them until I thought I had enough!

Yes, very beautiful quilts!

Just lovely---all of them!

LindaDeeter 06-10-2011 04:50 AM

ALL beautiful and so inspiring! I love the way you did the borders on the "Maine" one ... Hadn't thought of putting all the sides on, then the top and bottom! I'm going to do that on my next QFK or lap quilt. Love them all!

callie 06-10-2011 10:09 AM

Wonderful quilts and so much fun using "scraps." My avitar is 98% scraps and I just loved making it. We are making give away quilts with scraps from many precious people (several on this board provided material as well) and I just love the way they are coming out. Am so glad to see different things - thanks so much for sharing your lovely quilts.
