I'm thinking there or the vintage sewing machine shop might have info on getting the old glue/musty smell out of the case. Try setting it in the sun - dryer sheets - there are other ideas out there - there is a FW user group on here too. |

To get rid of the odor, get some odor eaters (for shoes) and put in the bottom of the case. You can also use fabric softner sheets but the odor eaters work best. Congradulations, you will love the feather weight. They were made for the user to be able to service them themselves and they are so sturdy. They sew the straightest and are so great for taking with you to whatever.
