so my question is do most of you display them, use them somehow, or just collect them. I've seen some very nice ones on this board. Thanks.

all the years I have made are mostley wall quilts or I call them mini quilts, I guess some could be doll quilts.
Dolls scare me, but I love doll quilts. They fall into the miniature quilt category and can be used as wall hangings, table toppers, pet mats and blankets, isolet covers for preemie babies, etc.
The mini I made for December Swap was actually a wallhanging I found. I just made it a bit smaller. Made a great little "quilt" and it came out ok to me, but it's loved by it's new owner now.
They are fun to make. YOu can practice skills that you have been afraid to try on them. That's the best part! |

I hang them in my sewing room!

I made 24 for the church bazaar and only 6 of them sold. I brought the reat home and let my kittens sleep on them.
I need to make some of those. My kitties would love them.
They hang in my sewong room and occasionally I move them around the house as the whim hits me. They make me smile and think of the folks who made them for me.
