Janome 3160 QDC

Just bought this machine. It's only 14 lbs. Great for taking to class etc. It has all my requirements needle down, needle threader etc. It even ties a knot when I cut the thread. At that weight I wasn't expecting a lot, but I am pleasantly surprised. I just sewed binding on, didn't use the walking foot and no problems. I have bigger machines for home use.

I have one for class and I love it. I think I've had it about two years now and it's as good as the first day I got it. Enjoy it!

I love my 3160. If I was new to quilting and wasn't concerned about the throat size, that is the machine I would use for everything. Great machine!

I was considering buying Janome 3160 QDC but the throat looked rather small. What is the measurement of the throat?
