I have a Brother XR9000 and it sews Ok, but the space from the needle to the machine is very small for machine quilting large quilts. I bought this machine to learn FMQ. In our community paper is an ad for a JanomeDQC and it says that it's for sale for $500, and is 2 months old. Does anyone know anything about this. Couldn't find a price when I tried to search on line, but did see a picture of it. I couldn't find out if the bed is bigger than my Brother. My Brother actually has more stitches than this machine. Can anyone tell me if the machine bed is bigger than 5" and could tell me how my Brother compares? And if 500 is a good price?
