Janome 6125 question

I have been offered a second hand Janome 6125 quilters edition for 200 Euro.
1) Is this a good machine?
2) What makes it a "Quilters Edition"?
3) Is this a reasonable price ?
Thanks for any input you can give

How old is it, or more importantly, how often was it used, and how was it stored?

The way it feeds might make it more of a quilter's edition.

In USD that's about $245, correct? Seems a bit much to me for a used machine.

Janome is very trustworthy. I would probably test drive and negotiate a lower price. I saw new ones advertised for a slae price of 299 euros when I went to look up a description of your machine.

Thanks. Will see if I can test drive it.

Often "Quilter's Edition" is just a marketing decision. It can (but doesn't necessarily) mean that the machine has the basics that quilters want -- needle down option, ability to lower the feed dogs, etc. Most modern non-quilter's edition machines have these features nowadays, so it doesn't necessarily mean much. Years ago it might have meant more.
