Janome 6600
 
For those of you that have the 6600 which stitch is the blanket stitch I have tried several and they just don’t look right to me.

I use mode 2, #36 I adjust width and length. hope this helps

Juliebelle, have you joined the Yahoo group for Janome 6600?
They have lots of information about this machine.
Not sure if it's still active but you can check their archives
and files.

I too use Mode 2, stitch 36 and adjust both the width and length. I would suggest using scrap fabric and experimenting with stitches 35 through 39 to find the one you like. You can also "flip" the stitch so it sews a mirror image and the grab stitch is on the opposite side from what is shown on the stitch chart. Use the middle button between the C and M on the last row. The stitch will flip on your screen too.

This is what I use also and just adjust the width and length that I am happy with. I practice with a piece of scrap fabric and when I get the adjustments I like I write it down and put it in my manual.
