Janome 6600 serpentine stitch 2

There was a post yesterday about this subject and someone's advice was to join the 6600 Janome Yahoo group. I tried and they turned me down. Also tried the 6500/6600 group and got the same result. Would someone let me know how to increase the length on the serpentine stitch? It would be very much appreciated. If this is a no-no, mods, just let me know.

I have the 6600. If you will give me the actual stitch number I will try it on my machine and let you know.

I have a Janome 7700 and was turned down also. My question is, why were we turned down? Does anyone know?

The turn-downs may be a glitch with Yahoo Neo. I belong to an owners club and there have been a lot of problems on some groups with getting people admitted. Check your turn-down email and see if there is contact information there so you can email the group's owner or moderator directly. They can work with you via email to try different ways to join until you get there.

I tried that, Prism, no response. I belonged to that group for a long time, but haven't participated in a long time. Sure wish I could find out how to increase that stitch.

I just push the plus/minus buttons on mine to increase or decrease stitch width and length. Your manual will show you one is which.

Could be an abandoned group -- which means no one is moderating it anymore. That's too bad!

That's probably it, Prism.

RaggieMom, it's my understanding that there's a way to increase the stitch longer than you can get with the larges + number.

It has nothing to do with stitch length or width-it's a full-on programming of a whole different stitch. gigi712-check your private messages.
