There is a Janome 7700 Yahoo group. Suggest joining it to comiserate with all the other 7700 users. Lots of info to be had there.

JustABitCrazy--the 1/4 inch foot that comes with the Babylock Espire (the newer model from a few years ago) is an "O" foot and the positioning of the hole and the edge blade makes you fight with the feed dogs. You have to continually fight to keep the fabric to the right along the foot edge because the feed dogs want to force the fabric off to the left. I've seen a few people comment on this as well. I will have to look up an "RE" foot and see if that may work on my machine.

"Fiddle with it"? What kind of an answer is that? Is this what they teach at the Janome Training the dealers have to go through? I don't care how much the machine cost -whether it was 100.00 or 10,000.00 dollars - "Fiddle with it" is NOT an acceptable response to a customer concern.

I totally agree!
