Janome Jem Gold
 

I would like to purchase a Janome Jem Gold lightweight machine for classes. I have read this phrase on the specs: "Skeleton Body Construction." Does anyone know what this means?

Not sure, but I really loved my little Jem. I gave it to my granddaughter a few years ago, and it is still running great. Must be close to 10 years old. Great little machine to take to classes. Had mine in my motor home to travel with.

I have three Janome Jem Golds, the first models. They are years old and still going strong. I use them for sewing classes my guild does with various children's groups. Many a kid has sewn with them and haven't broken one yet.

I had a Jem Gold for years.....loved it!!! Gave it to my Sister-in-Law last year when I upgraded to the 760!!!! I love these machines for taking to classes......great little workhorse!!!!

i like my little Jem too. you won't be disappointed.

I just got one to take to quilt guild. And I had a bag that it fits in perfectly so it is very easy to take along.

I have a little Janome Platinum that I got for classes...it is a little crackerjack machine...I love it
