Janome Quilter's Companion Sewing Machine

Is this a good sewing machine? I have to chance to buy one and also wondered what a fair price is.

Buying used? If soo, how old is the machine? Is it brand New? If so, What is the MSRP? details are helpful.

i love my Janomes as you can see but as for your price...I am not helpful. This is your first post with QB?

New? Used? If used, you can check sold listings on ebay.

It is a used machine, the lady that owned it passed away so I have no more information about it. I have never had a Janome before, they are good machines?
This is my first post but I've lurked for a long time!

Then you don't know how well this lady maintained her machine or when it last went into service. You should also include in your price having it clean by a professional technician.

I have the Janome 6260QC. I think this is the machine you are talking about. I bought it on sale in 2006 for $599. It's a great machine. I've used it exclusively for quilting since I bought it even though it has some nice embroidery designs built in. I have only had to take it in for yearly service. Each time I ask if I should be looking for a new machine. They tell me "no" and that the machine is so well made it should last forever. I would love to get a newer machine with more bells and whistle but can't justify giving up my 6260qc

If you are talking about the Janome MO 200, Marie Osmond Quilter's Companion machine, I have this machine. It has features for garment making and quilting. I've had it for about 6 years and have loved sewing with it.

Yes, I believe that is the one. Do you know what the price was new?
Thanks so much
