You have to be a B&N member to view the book. I bought this one. It has patterns for usally 1 jelly roll plus extra yardage for the background and borders. I don't see why you couldn't use the jelly roll for the border too. I did like the patterns though.
I also like Trade Winds and am geared up to do a quilt in this pattern.

Hi Michael, I answered your email about bags.

Anyway, jelly rolls are great. I used an easy pattern for the quilt below from: http://www.maryquilts.com/boxed-squares/

I used 2 bali pops/jelly rolls to make mine bigger, but you can use one and make a quilt 48"x60". It would look cute with the fabric you just bought. Good luck.

Love that pattern, have 3 jelly rolls sitting in my sewing room I bought from ebay and this would be perfect for one of them!!

Love your quilts, especially the 3rd one. Aren't JR's great?

I made a tube quilt recently from a jelly roll. Rain Fence, log cabin. If you want easy then any square or rectangular design is good. Don't stress too much on the first one, save the detailed patterns for the next.

I am going to make a quilt called Split Decisions by Teacher's Pet. It looks very easy to make. I am using Moda's Gyspy Rose jelly roll.
