I am working on making a queen size quilt using a super-sized Log Cabin; with a charm square center and jelly roll sides and wide sashing between the blocks.

Have you seen a pattern like this? {If I didn't confuse you with my discription?} Thanks for the help!

not a bit confusing. But I'd never put sashing between the blocks. The fun of log cabins is the patterns blocks side by side make.

I was thinking that by adding sashing, and just having a scrappy log cabin (not dark vs. light) it would help add size to the quilt.

Making a queen size quilt is a little daunting after all the baby/twin size quilts I have done.

Sorry, I didn't catch that it was just scrappy and not light and dark scrappy. Sashing always adds size without a lot of extra work.
