I love the colors! The second quilt is so much more "exciting" than the first. Can't wait to see it finished!

I love the postage stamp look and also can't wait to see it finshed!

Thinking out loud...because I am so used to piecing blocks to make a design is that why I wasn't pleased with my Jelly-Roll race quilt??? Many in the group whom did theirs weren't happy with the way their own looked either yet we like them.

This Monday evening those of us who did the Jelly-Roll race will be bring them to the meeting to show with now the borders on and if any of those also ended up cutting them apart to a new design. I hope to get some pictures of them all.

Peckish, I love how the quilt looks cut up into postage stamp size. You inspire me to get mine cut up or it will sit in my UFO pile forever.

Thanks so much for posting this. One of the things I enjoy about quilting is the surprise at how it turns out, but I agree that jelly roll race quilts can have mixed results. I appreciate seeing the post-race variations.

I made one and then added a row of pinwheels at the top of the quilt. Changed the whole look of it and now I like it. Also could applique a very large flower off center with huge rick rack stems and maybe a big bud or two to change the look. I'm going to do that with another one of mine.

I just love these colors!! I would have been happy with the first quilt, but I really like the postage stamp quilt also.
